Alright so I've been bumping this shit sense it dropped and I have to say, for me anyway I get mixed feelings on this. I think it's just what you take this as. At first I went into listening to this like "I hope YG gives me some diversity on this album" but after some of his softer tracks I sort of regret wishing for it. And for me personally I've never been a big fan of those big banger tracks which is 80% of this album. But after listening to the whole thing front to back I find myself going back to those loud tracks like that opening track "BPT" (which Is one of my favorites). The front of this album is really strong, highly influenced with that west coast hip hop noise and just overall pretty good. When YG gets to the track "My Nigga" the album takes a strange turn for a couple joints that I could've done with out "My Nigga" and those two tracks about his bitch to me were awful. They had potential but YG has this tendacies to spit really corny lines, which I think is ok on certain tracks but when he gets to these ones it didn't work for me. But despite those couple bumps in the road it picks back up quickly with that hard hitting joint "Who Do You love" following that with the Kendrick feature which was pretty cool.I really liked the track "Thank God (interlude)" becuase I thought the whole joint production and everything was just really uniuqe and I love how this song was wrote out with a phone call to his mom about YG being arrested. One track that stood out production wise for me was 1AM I love the erry beat and YG does his thing. So if you're looking for something to bump in your ride or just jam to then this Is your shit, but if you're trying to get that introspective look from this hard west coast rapper then this might not be your shit. A nice addition to the new west coast era that is slowly rising again.

Piñata -Freddie Gibbs x Madlib
First off I want to get this off my chest, I loved this project!!! From Madlibs outstanding production to Freddie's hard lyrics and flow. I enjoyed Freddie's past music such as BFK and ESGN, but I can comfortably say that this is by far his best work yet. I found my self being surprised when I got it the last track because of how quick it went by, but then I realised it was because of how unbelievably smooth this thing sounds. I thought sample from great like Biggie and many others really helped but you back to that 90s rap era, which Freddie can easily shine over. The first couple tracks were dope, but the first track that really caught my ear in the first listen was the song "High" I don't know how many times I can say it but seriously props to Madlib this thing was soo smooth. I also think that Danny Brown fit like a glove on this joint. And Freddie Gibbs.... Goddamnnnn. In my opinion what makes Freddie as good as he is, is his ability to not really give a fuck what people think of him and just spit it. Take "Real" for example I had to replay that part where he goes in on Jeezy a couple times just to make sure he really did it! Obviously disturbed about what went down at CTE , he still has the determination and drive to pull the bars together to make an amazing track. Overall I really enjoyed this album and have to negatives to say about it it's just good music. My only fear is that people sleep on this becuase there's no major label to go along with it. If that's what's holding you back from getting this then shame on you ! Go support Freddie and Madlib.

Rise Of An Empire-Young Money
Young Money! back with another record full of "hits" so they say anyway..... as i'm listening to this my overall opinion was that this sounds like "We Are Young Money" but with WAY more drugs. I hear loud instrumentals and sub par to below average bars from almost every single rapper on this label. And do I really even need to go into Waynes verses on this project? He pretty much follows the same path hes been on sense C3. As far as this Lil Twist guy goes it sounds like to me Lil Wayne has took him under his wing because he is AWFUL. When ever he goes in on a track its all I can do not to skip it. Like on the track "Senile" the hook was "Can you see now, are you senile" I mean really Young Money?? Really?!?! You couldn't think of anything more clever than that? For the Other rappers such as Tyga, and Nicki, they wern't horrible but they wern't good either. If Young Money could ever rap about the over spat drugs, money, sex, fans might actually respect them again... maybe. Now there was some joints on this thing that I thought were really hot. The one rapper on this that I thought out shined everybody else was Euro, he sounds hungry and just ready to explode. Props to this dude on "Introduction Speech" he really killed it, as well on the intro track "We Alright" (the only good verse on the song). I also really liked what I heard on "Fresher Than Ever" but the whole time I was listening I was just wondering why they couldn't make an entire album like those tracks. I really wanted to like this album but was overall really disappointed once again.

Cilvia Demo-Isaiah Rashad
Isaiah Rashad, the latest artist to be signed to the (arguably) best rap/hip hop label at the moment, has released the first project of the six that T.D.E has promised the hip hop community in 2014. When I first listened to this project I thought "this is ok, but not great" and I cannot lie and say that my expectations, unlike many others were actually NOT that high. I understand that because this rapper was signed to T.D.E everyone is looking for that special talent that he brings to the label, but lets not forget that not one of the now super rappers that are Black Hippy blew up as soon as they hit the scene. It took Kendrick Lamar years before creating his masterpiece GKMC. But back to Cilvia Demo, throughout this project you will hear a slow consisted production on the beat , which is why on my first listen I wasn't to hot. But if you listen to this tape restlessly you will eventually figure out that this isn't about the sound or production, this is about Isaiah Rashads undeniable talent to spit hard, raw, and very clever bars song after song. His flow is really what made me a fan I love the way he has the ability to switch it up on songs like "Banana", and also the way he figured out how to flow over the beginning of the track "Shot You Down"(Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q's verses were also very good) before the drums even come into play! Another thing I noticed while listening to this project was the way Isaiah was making me feel throughout it. The whole thing has this very dark very gloomy feel to it when he raps about his dad on tracks like "Heavenly Father" but then picks it up on other tracks with his hard flow on "Soliloquy".The reason why I tell you guys to please listen to this more than once is because you will pick up a different line from this rapper every time you listen! The way he can twist a kine to make it clever and at the same time make it fit perfectly over a quite beat makes this that much better. I really find myself being able to listen to Cilvia Demo front to back without any urge to skip a track and am really excited to see where this T.D.E artist will go next in his career. Go buy it, go support it!
